King Penguins at small glacier stream
Small groups of king penguins standing along the small glacier streams in Fortuna Bay on South Georgia near Antarctica.
Although it may seem cold for us humans, it's hot for penguins to be on land. The thick and dense plumage, which protects them from the cold water is unbearably hot up on shore, and then it's good to cool your feet in the cold glacier water.
